Happy Magpies Foretelling Happiness

In Chinese culture, magpie is a symbol of happiness. The singing of a magpie is generally a good omen foretelling happiness and good luck. The Chinese wedding invitation is designed with two magpies sitting among plum blossoms, a picture that depicts joy and freshness of life. Also on the Chinese wedding invitation card is the Chinese symbol for "double happiness."
